Okay so these diamonds are pretty, like out of this world super pretty! So it is no surprise that they are called after a natural light display in the Earth’s sky, “Aurora Borealis diamonds” or in short “AB diamonds”. I love working with them even though the coating that is applied to the drills to make the shimmery sparkly goodness makes them a little harder to pick up with a drill pen than a normal diamond.

One of my favourite things to do with my paintings that have these ultra cool drills is to place them in the sunlight and move around to watch them sparkle. Yes, maybe a little bit nerdy but I embrace my nerdiness and bet you get all fan girly or fan dudey on them as well once you try them out.
A diamond painting needs only a few well placed touches of these bad ass drills so as to not overwhelm the artwork and to make the effect more appealing. We love the impact these tiny stars have on our exclusive and original diamond paintings like our Beauty of the Beast or Beach Life.
So go ahead try them and you won’t ever want to go back to an all plain drill painting again.
